Analyst (Staff) Application

If this all sounds ideal, we might just be what you’re looking for! Avizo Group, Inc. is hiring two entry-level positions in our assurance department. You’ll need to be excited to learn and grow every day while working on team-based projects.
In this position you can expect to:
- Preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, business entities, estates & trusts.
- Supervise, train and mentor incoming staff and interns within the tax and assurance departments.
- Research and analyze clients’ tax related issues and recommend appropriate tax strategies.
- Acquire a working knowledge of the clients’ business and related tax issues and considerations.
- Proactively interact with key clients’ management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations related to tax planning and strategy
- Experience in the following niches considered a plus: construction, real estate, hospitality and agriculture.
- Perform other job related duties as necessary
- Recent college graduate with 0 – 2 years of experience who has a desire to successfully complete the CPA exam.
- A keen willingness to seek to learn something every day.
- The ability to be coached and learn from that coaching.
- Ability to interact with diverse clients on multiple aspects of their business operations.
- Have experience and genuine interest in helping small business owners achieve their goals and objectives for success through sound business, accounting and tax advice.
- A strong commitment to understanding the goals and objectives of Avizo and applying them daily.
