Avizo Group, Inc. will merge with BMSS Advisors & CPAs, effective July 1, 2026, bringing together two relationship-driven firms with shared values, complementary expertise and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Through the merger, BMSS will expand from eight offices to 10, adding locations in Brewton and Fairhope, Alabama, and growing to approximately 410 employees. The combination further strengthens the firm’s presence across Alabama and Mississippi and reinforces its position as one of the Southeast’s top advisory and CPA firms.
The decision to merge was made with clients’ best interests in mind. Over the coming months, the Avizo and BMSS teams will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition and identify meaningful ways to bring expanded value, expertise and resources to clients of both firms.

The firms will work to integrate their teams into the market to ensure clients continue receiving the right combination of relationship support, industry expertise and specialized service. Together, the combined firm will provide advisory, tax, assurance, estate and trust, valuation, payroll, wealth management, cybersecurity, IT, and artificial intelligence/business intelligence services.
